Description
English Brides. A welcome to Texas was extended to Mrs. Betty M. Pack, first of the contingent of English war brides to arrive here after docking in New York on the Queen Mary, Wednesday morning to the Texas and Pacific station. She was to leave here for De Leon, Texas to meet her husband, Charles E. Pack, later in the day. Mrs. Pack is wearing a hat and coat. Her hands are in front of her holding a purse and gloves. She has two small pendants of a ship and elephant pinned to her coat and dress.
