Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Higgins observed their golden wedding anniversary with a family reunion and dinner. The couple has lived with their daughter, Mrs. Mable Wood, in Fort Worth, Texas, for the past five years. The Higgins' other sons and daughters are Mrs. Thelma Klaus, Chester L. Higgins, Mrs. Charles Burkins, and Private Claude L. Higgins, with the United States Army in Japan. Five grandchildren were present: Mrs. Ray McDonald Junior, Neva Louis Klaus, Albert Wood, Philip Loren Higgins and Stanley Bruce Higgins; and one great-granddaughter, Marsha Rae McDonald. The couple is sitting at a dining table. In the center of the table is a floral arrangement. Mr. Higgins is wearing a dark colored suit and eyeglasses. Mrs. Higgins is wearing a dress, eyeglasses, and multi-strand pearl necklace.
