Description
Captain W. W. Baltz, of Arlington, Texas, on terminal leave after 18 months in Europe, shows his wife a copy of the war history of his unit, the 159th Engineers Combat Battalion, which contains the names of all the members of the battalion, the battles they fought, the medals they won and also action photographs of their fight across the Continent from France to the Czech border. The couple is sitting on a bench, looking through the book. Captain Baltz is wearing his military uniform and his wife is wearing a dark colored dress and a hat.
