Description
Winning beauty and popularity contests is nothing new to Miss Cloma Lee Caldwell, 21, of 3103 North Clinton, who Friday filed her entry in the Queen of the Range Beauty Contest at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. For two years she was "Miss Memphis" Texas, during her high school days. She is five feet five and three-quarters inches in height, weighs 129 pounds, has blue eyes, auburn hair, and fair complexion. Miss Caldwell's interest range from singing and dancing to public speaking and horseback riding. While a high school student in 1939 she went to Austin and captured the state honors for public speaking in the Interscholastic League contest. Here parents are Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Jordon of 3103 North Clinton. Star-Telegram Morning Edition February 9, 1946
