Description

Attending the 59th and last annual meeting of the Texas Bar Association are, left to right, Tom Suggs, of Denison, Texas, Gordon Simpson, of Tyler, Texas, and Claude E. Carter, of Harlingen, Texas, all new directors. After this meeting, the bar association will become the State Bar of Texas. The three men are sitting on a table, all wearing suits and eyeglasses. Suggs and Simpson each have a name tag pinned to their jacket lapel. Suggs is holding a cigarette in his right hand.
