    Description

Waco, February 7, 1946. Not one of the 1087 patients at the Waco Veterans Hospital, whose mental illness can not be attributed to service disability, will be dismissed to make room for the mounting number of men seeking treatment as a result of World War II says Charles E. McCarthy. He is acting manager of Waco Veterans Hospital. Mr. McCarthy is seated behind a desk. There is a stack of papers and a pen on the desk. Star-Telegram Morning Edition February 8, 1946
