Description
Vernon W. Jones, 45, who died January 30, 1946 in the hospital after an illness of several months. A resident of Fort Worth 42 years, Mr. Jones had been with the Post office for 26 years. He is survived by his widow; a son Ed. V. Jones; parents, Mr. and Mrs. William V. Jones ; two brothers, Jack T and W. O. Jones, all of Fort Worth. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at Sycamore Heights Baptist Church. Burials will be in Greenwood Cemetery. published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, January 31, 1946.
