Description
Gerald R. McElfresh, 18, Baptist Seminary student was arrested here and held for removal to Ohio on federal auto theft charges. He came to Fort Worth in November 21, and soon after was converted while attending services at the First Baptist Church. McElfresh testified that since his conversion he had been going straight and will continue to do so. Rev. Fred W. Dyson, faculty member of the Bible Baptist seminary attested to McElfresh's good behavior. The youth was arrested here by an FBI agentand City Detective Lieutenant Cobb on a fugitive warrant from Akron. He was charged with transporting a stolen car last October 8, from Akron to Huntingsburg, Indiana. McElfresh sits behind a desk in an office setting.
