Description

The Gold Star Mothers of Tarrant County were presented with a state charter Monday by District Attorney Clyde and State Representative Hull. The 'Star Charter' moment is pictured here. Receiving it is Mrs. W. C. O'Briant, Senior (Sr.), right). She is wearing formal suit dress and a hat. She is the president of the new organization. Mr. Clyde (left) and Mr. Hull (center) are wearing suits and ties. Behind them in the room is an American flag. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, January 29, 1946.
