Description
The Golden Gloves state quarterfinals is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. What is considered "The Greatest Fight" is a brawl between welterweights Jeral Walker, left, and Bill Sanders. They are shown in the middle newspaper clipping. Walker is a platinum-blonde from Mineral Wells, Texas. Sanders is a slugger from San Antonio, Texas. Walker was badly battered in the second round and close to being knocked out, when the bell rang. Walker amazingly rallied, floored Sanders, and captured the decision. Walker is shown bouncing a crushing left-handed blow off Sander's jaw.
