Fort Worth cops, 78 of them, switched guns for pencils and took tests which each man hopes will make him a sergeant. In this picture, R. L. Armstrong and Mickey Hurley are examining papers turned in by Fort Worth policemen. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 26, 1946.
