Description

Lieutenant (Lt.) George Sanford has been stationed at Fort Worth Army Ari Field (FWAAF), Texas and looking for a place to live. Shown here he and his family are appealing to Mrs. Edwin T. Phillips, Chamber of Commerce housing director after having occupied tourist courts in Dallas and Fort Worth during the month-and-a-half he has been stationed here. From left to right, are Mrs. Edwin T. Phillips, children, Martha Lynn, 5, Sherry Anne, 3, George Jr., 7 months, and Lieutenant, and Mrs. Sanford. The children are seated on a table. Mrs. Phillips is seating in a chair, lieutenant and Mrs. Sanford are standing near the table. The Sanfords found the housing shortage worse in Fort Worth, than any place they have been stationed.
