Description
Mrs. Doris Bradshaw, left, and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Grace Bradshaw await patiently the start of a court inquiry in the case of the murder of Lieutenant George B. Bradshaw Junior. Mrs. Doris Bradshaw was accused by the state of slaying her husband on November 11 in Fort Worth. She is wearing a dress, hat, and gloves as she toys with a cigarette. Mrs. Grace Bradshaw, mother of the slain man, is wearing a dress, fur coat, gloves and hat. She smiled and chatted while they waited. There are other people on the benches behind the women. The hearing was canceled by Justice Brown, who declared he did not have jurisdiction. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 28, 1945.
