    Description

Investigators examine the battered automobile of William Viner, which was thrown 106 feet after colliding with a Fort Worth Army Air Field bus at Bailey and White Settlement Road. Viner was killed instantly. The bus which is shown in the picture, plunged off the road, toppled an electric light pole, broke a water plug and came to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Lights in the Greenwood area were off several hours, and one of the live wires shocked Kenneth R. W. Early, seriously injured in the crash. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 25, 1946.
