Description
The Carl Thomason family and war souvenirs. Left to right are Ronald Thomason, Betty Marie Thomason and Mrs. Carl Thomason. Corporal Carl Thomason shipped the items prior to departing Germany after World War II. Ronald is holding an antique German six-shooter gun, Betty Marie holds a Dutch-made doll while Mrs. Thomason examines pure linen tablecloths which came from the home of the German ambassador to Spain. On a table in front of them are additional souvenirs, including knives, a toy train, bottles of cologne or perfume, a pair of wooden shoes, a manicure set and several toy animals. Behind them hangs a large Nazi flag. Ronald is wearing slacks, a sportcoat with pocket square and an opened neck shirt. Both Betty Marie and Mrs. Thomason are wearing dresses. Mrs. Thomason's dress has a lace-looking collar.
