Private First Class George Goldberg, left, and Private Tom MacConchie, right, with airplane model equipped with lights and motor. Stationed at the Naval Air Station at Eagle Mountain Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas, the Privates constructed the plane in their spare time. Both men are holding the model, and are dressed in military overcoats. This photograph appeared in the Sunday, January 20, 1946 edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram
