Description

Colonel Thomas H. Hubbard with his wife, the former Nelly Rosiers of Belgium. The couple are holding a parachute handle that Colonel Hubbard was clutching when found by a group of boys after he was shot down by Germans over Holland. The boys subsequently mailed the handle to Colonel Hubbard. Colonel Hubbard is wearing an Army uniform, decorated with a number of honor bars. Mrs. Hubbard is wearing a dark dress. Both are sitting on a sofa, possibly in their living room.
