Description
In a freak accident, this Greyhound bus failed to make the turn at the traffic circle on Highway 80 just west of Fort Worth. After climbing a four-foot embankment, the bus sailed forty feet through the air. The vehicle bounced through the air before coming to a stop. The driver, H. S. Short was thrown out the open door. The thirty passengers were badly shaken and nine were sent to the hospital. The bus has several dents on its body and front wheel is damaged. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 9, 1946.
