Description
A wartime romance between a Royal Air Force pilot, who was later killed in a crash, and a Texas girl has brought the pilot's mother Mrs. J W. Warren to Fort Worth, Texas. She is from London, England and is visiting her son's former fiance Peggy Bass of Terrell, Texas. Mrs. Warren's son, Collyns Warren was killed in a plane crash in August 1944. Mrs. Warren is standing in front of a fireplace. She is wearing a skirt and blazer. Behind her there is an end table with a small lamp and a window. There is a plant and a mirror over the mantle. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 3, 1946.
