Shown here are Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) Officials. They are, from left to right, H. E. Applegate, C. G. O'Fiel, G. L. Land and George L. Crown. Mr. Applegate was named acting head of the communications branch. He is wearing pinstripe suit, and has eyeglasses on. Mr. O'Fiel was named superintendent of air navigation facilities and plant and structures branch. He is wearing a three piece suit and eyeglasses. Supervising airport traffic and traffic control will be Mr. Land. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Mr. Crown was named temporary head of the legal department. He is wearing a three piece suit. Everyone is wearing neckties. The men are standing shoulder to shoulder in front of a window.
