Description

Doctor O. M. Phillips, ended his five years of Army Medical Corps service on December 7, Pearl Harbor Day. He is leaving the service as a lieutenant colonel. He is familiarly known to his friends as "Jack" Phillips. He has returned to medical practice in Fort Worth, Texas and will be associated with the Beall Clinic at Cook Memorial Hospital. Dr. Phillips is shown standing against a bare wall. He is wearing a three piece suit with a pocket square and a tie and eyeglasses. A native of Marlin, Texas, Dr. Phillips came to Fort Worth in 1937 and was associated with the Ponton Clinic. He was chief of the general medical section for Camp Bowie station hospital when he entered into military service, January 5, 1941. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 30, 1945.
