    Description

    Private Lawrence Marvin Phillips, 20, veteran infantryman who died December 27 at McCloskey General Hospital in Temples, Texas. Funeral services will be held at Ray Crowder Chapel, Fort Worth, December 29. Phillips received a leg wound in New Guinea on September 1944 while assigned to the 34th Infantry Regiment, Company K. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Phillips of Fort Worth. The photograph portrait of Phillips has combat scenes vignettes in each corner. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 29, 1945.
