    Description

    Three of the 235 boys from Lena Pope Home who have gone into the armed forces were reunited here Christmas for the first time in five years. Left to right, they are, Carl Fickle, pharmacist's mate third class; Captain John L. Hahn, and Roy Lee Fielder, discharged from the Army Air Forces. Mr. Fickle is in his sailor's uniform and standing in an at ease position. Captain Hahn is wearing his military uniform. Mr. Fielder is wearing a suit and a striped necktie. He is also standing in an at ease stance. They are all standing next to each other. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 27, 1945.
