J. H. Knowles, manager of Montgomery Ward & Company Drug and Sundries Department. He is shown packing the 250-pound boxes of fruit cakes which the store has donated to Goodfellows for inclusion in the Christmas baskets this year. Mr. Knowles is wearing a dark-colored suit. He is holding boxes of fruit cake and is standing behind a dolly stacked with boxes of fruit cake. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 24, 1945.
