    Description

Behind schedule but wiring reassurance that they will be on hand for Christmas, these service folks form part of an almost continuous parade to the telegraph counter in the Texas & Pacific Station passenger terminal. Left to right are Women's Army Corps (W. A. C) Sergeant Mary Buckley, San Antonio, Texas, and three Marines, Corporal Robert A. Spencer, Atlanta, Georgia; 1st Sergeant William H. Miner, Jacksonville, Florida; and Sergeant Edmund Eubanks, Tampa, Florida. There is an unidentified woman working behind the telegraph counter. All four service people are wearing their respective uniforms.
