    Description

    There were occasions for smiles along with the more serious notes of the "Wainwright Day" dinner program. Also at the speakers' table, left to right, were Mayor and Mrs. Roscoe Carnike; Major General John P. Lucas, commanding general, 4th Army, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas; Major General H. L. Twaddle, commanding general of the Infantry Replacement Training Center at Camp Wolters, Mineral Wells, Texas, and Homer Covey, president of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. The group is sitting at a large dining table. Mayor Carnike and Mr. Covey are wearing suits and General Lucas and Major General Twaddle are wearing their military uniforms.
