Description

Texas Pan-American Association elected officers and adopted by-laws at the first meeting of the board in the Chamber of Commerce. Officers left to right, Santiago Leal, Ricardo Mr. Uriarte and Gustavo Ortiz Hernan. Mr. Leal, general manager of the Mexican Confederation of Chambers of Commerce, spoke at the meeting. Mr. Uriarte, of Mexico City is vice president of the Mexico Confederation of Chambers of Commerce. He was chosen president of the organization. Mr. Hernan was also chosen to serve on the committee. The three men are dressed in suits. The are sitting around a table looking through documents. Mr. Hernan is smoking a cigarette. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 14, 1945.
