    Description

One of the smoothest working departments in the Star-Telegram is the mailing room on the basement mezzanine. Here a crew of 22 men work with precision to get the papers to the dealers and individual subscribers. In some instances the subscriber gets his paper in an individual wrapper. The pink address slip is already on the wrapper as S. W. Blakeslee, foreman of the mailing room, pastes the wrappers before wrapping. He is wearing a collared shirt and trousers and working on the wrappers on a table. Also on the table is a stack of newspapers.
