Description

Major General Claire L. Chennault, former commander of the "Flying Tigers" and the 14th Air Force in China, was met at Municipal Airport Tuesday morning by Brig. Gen. James f. Powell, right, acting chief of staff of the AAFTC, next to them is Mrs. Doreen Lonberg, Chennault's secretary who worked for him in China. Both men appear to be wearing their uniforms, Gen. Chennault is carrying a briefcase and jacket. Mrs. Longberg is wearing a fur coat, skirt suit, and a headband.
