Service men returning to civilian life, men who in some cases paid three times as much in uniform as they will be able to earn in civilian life; need the public's aid in making peacetime adjustments. Carl C. Donaugh, president of Optimists International, in an address before the Fort Worth Optimist Club at the Worth Hotel receiving hat from Robert C. Pepper, local Optimists president. In the picture you can see Mr. Donaugh receiving his hat, he is wearing a suit , eyeglasses and looks delighted at the recognition. Mr. Pepper is wearing what appears to be a light colored suit and there is a button attached to his left side (suit). At their left side there is another man standing who appears not to be identified. in the background you can observe part of the auditorium and what appears to be a podium and some chairs at the right side of the picture.
