Description

Members of the 1940 National Range Tour visited ranges and ranch homes in Texas. Among those on the tour were, left to right, George Samson, of Post, Texas, county farm agent, and Whitney Therin, head of Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA) information department at Washington, D. C. They are standing outdoors. Mr. Samson is wearing a dark-colored suit with a striped necktie and a hat. Mr. Therin is wearing a lighter suit and a striped necktie.
