Sergeant Martin Denny, veteran of Bataan and Corregidor and 3 1-2 years in Japanese prison camps, smiles at his mother, Mrs. Nora Denny, 1121 E. Arlington, after his return home. His brother , Corp. Joe C. Denny , died Dec. 30, 1942, in Cabanatuan prison camp. In the picture you can see Sgt. Denny embracing his mother Mrs. Denny, they are sitting in a sofa. Sgt. Denny is wearing his uniform and Mrs. Denny is wearing a black dress and eyeglasses.
