Description

Female golfers throughout the country are preparing for the Women's Texas Open Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Colonial Country Club, in Fort Worth, Texas. Tuning-up their games, left to right, are Mrs. J. L. Dunn, Mrs. J. W. Carter, Mrs. W. K. Stripling Junior, and Mrs. R. M. Torgerson. Mrs. Dunn is wearing a button-up dress. Mrs. Carter is dressed in a collared shirt and trousers. Mrs. Stripling is wearing a button-up dress. Mrs. Torgerson is shown bringing her club back to drive the ball off the tee. She is a Metropolitan Champion and medalist from Long Island, New York. She is dressed in a button-up shirt, and a skirt.
