Charles E. Akey has been a golf pro at the Lubbock Country Club for the past eight years. The Fort Worth, Texas, native is returning home to a new job at the Colonial Country Club, succeeding Duncan Barr. Mr. Akey started his golf course career as a caddie while still in high school. He has since worked his way up to golf pro. Mr. Akey plays around par. He is married with one son - Charles. Mr. Akey is standing against a wall, dressed in a checkered button-up shirt and trousers.
