Private First Class Ernest Janes is a five-star veteran of the European Theater. He has served with the United States Army for three-and-a-half years, two of which were overseas. He is home in Fort Worth, Texas, visiting his mother, Mrs. Charles Wheeler. Private Janes was a member of the 183rd Field Artillery. He now wears a gold emblem for his recent discharge. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
