Description
Joe Shannon was recently discharged from the Army Air Forces, where he served three years as a gunner. During his seven months overseas, he completed 32 missions with the 8th Air Force as a B-17 tail gunner. He won the Air Medal and Distinguished Flying Cross (D. F. C.). Before entering the military, Mr. Shannon was a partner in a law firm. A civilian once again, the 29-year-old was appointed assistant district attorney under District Attorney Clyde. Mr. Shannon is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a double breasted pinstripe suit.
