Description
Achilles Nixon has been discharged from the military after three years of service. The ex-sergeant spent seven months in Italy with the 15th Air Force. He completed 50 missions as a tail and side gunner. For his service he received a Purple Heart and an Air Medal. As a civilian, Mr. Nixon plans to return to Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College, where he was previously enrolled. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
