The Engquist family was jubilant Thursday as Corporal Oliver Engquist arrived home after serving overseas with the military. Corporal Engquist is shown meeting his daughter, Jerrie Lou, for the first time. He is dressed in a military uniform. Jerrie Lou is playing with a stuffed animal on the floor. She is wearing a dress and a locket. The happy introduction came on the little girl's first birthday. In the background there is a photograph on a Singer sewing machine table.
