C. D. Peckenpaugh is the vice president and general manager of the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway Company. The veteran railroader got his start 55 years ago working on a telegraph key. His current double job includes sorting through correspondence. He will reach the retirement age of 70 in three years. Mr. Peckenpaugh is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and trousers. He is shown sitting at a desk. There is another desk behind him, on which there are two telephones.
