Description
Joseph B. Tate is one of the many former serviceman attending classes at the Technical Institute. Mr. Tate was a corporal in the Army Air Forces. After his release at McChord Field, Washington, he went to work at the Boeing aircraft plant in Seattle, Washington. Then he came to Fort Worth, Texas, and worked at Convair. Now he is employed at the Fort Worth Fixture Manufacturing Company. At 41 years old, Mr. Tate is one of the older students. He is enrolling in a class in cabinet making. He is dressed in a button-up shirt with cuffed sleeves and trousers. There is a filing cabinet beside him.
