Description
Johnnie Williams, of Bonham, Texas, is shown riding in a 1897 model "Black" automobile. He was roaming the Crystal Mountains, near Hot Springs, Arkansas, when he spotted the vintage automobile. As as used car dealer, it was exactly what he was searching for in the mountains. Mr. Williams bought the car on the spot from the Arkansas owner and transported it to Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Williams is asking a price of $1,800. The vehicle is hitched on the back of a trailer. Mr. Williams is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. The marque in the background is advertising the Barbara Stanwyck movie, "Christmas in Connecticut."
