Description
Miss Dorothy Nell Godley, recently discharged from Women's Army Club, welcomed by Thurman Parker, commander of the Boydstun Post, to join Bodystun Post AMVETS. The two are shown sitting at a desk in a an office. Mr. Parker is wearing a patterned tie with a rolled up sleeved shirt and Miss Godley is wearing a netted hat with a beaded necklace and a jacket. Both are also wearing eyeglasses. Mr. Parker appears to be signing small card while Miss Godley looks on. Miss Godley has served two years in North Africa and Italy with the Woman's Army Club and is of the first women veteran to associate with the AMVETS (American Veterans).
