Description
Mrs. Clara Gilmore is preparing a glass of eggnog for her son, Ted Gilmore, a chief aviation machinist mate. Mr. Gilmore spent 21 months with a Navy combat service squadron in the South Pacific. After months of rations and dehydrated food, Mrs. Gilmore is attempting to put some weight back on her son. Mrs. Gilmore is a public school nurse. She is wearing an eyelet blouse and a skirt. She has on eyeglasses, earrings, a ring on her left hand and a bracelet on her left wrist. She is shown standing in the kitchen, by the sink, sprinkling a spice in the glass full of eggnog.
