    Description

    Staff Sergeant James Wheeler Carson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Carson, is visiting friends and relatives in Fort Worth, Texas, while on a 60-day recuperation furlough. He has the Air Medal with four clusters and the Presidential Citation. In Dallas, Texas, he visited his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. X. Carson, and in Fort Worth, Texas, he has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. George Brightwell and family. Sergeant Carson is a graduate of Paschal High School and was attending North Texas Agricultural College (N. T. A. C.). He is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing his military uniform.
