Mrs. Veronica Parle Morgan, Australian wife of Texas' hero, Marine Fighter Pilot Luther Morgan of Arlington. Pilot Morgan was killed in action in the Pacific. In the picture we can also see the black Cocker spaniel dog Aussie seated on top of Mrs. Morgan's bags that she is packing before her voyage to Sydney, Australia. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 10, 1945.
