    Final tribute was paid to Corporal (Corp.) James Newman (James E. Newman), a Japanese prison camp victim. Hundreds of persons filed by for a last look at the 25-year-old corporal as his body lay in state at the First Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 7, 1945.
