    Three buddies, all veterans of campaigns with the 3rd and 5th Fleets, are on leave in Fort Worth together after seeing action at Okinawa. They are, left to right, Ensign (Ens.) Spud Cason, Machinists Mate 3rd Class T. E. Myers Junior (Jr.) and Ensign (Ens.) Russell Vinson. Three men are shown seated on a bench, facing front and smiling. All are in military uniforms.
