Two of the military guests at a luncheon here celebrating the Army Air Forces' 38th birthday at a joint junior and senior Chamber of Commerce luncheon. They are Colonel J. B. Wells (center), deputy commander of Fort Worth Army Air Field, where crews are trained to fly the huge B-32 bomber against Japan, and Colonel Harry H. Blee (4th from left), acting national commander of the Civil Air Patrol. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 2, 1945.
