J. J. Langever, right who hoisted flags to spell out a welcome to the first Army aircraft ever to land at Fort Worth, back in 1915, presents a Texas flag to Major General Walter F. Kraus, acting commanding general of the Air Forces Training Command, as a part of Armed Air Force Day 38th birthday celebration here. The flag was presented at a joint junior and senior Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 2, 1945.
