Description
These three servicemen are shown taking a nap after they had been moved out of the air conditioned Pullmans into a chair car on the experimental "mixed" train of eight Pullmans and five chair cars, which brought 544 Texans home from New Jersey after service in Europe. Left to right, they are Staff Sergeant Allen C. Schutz, Staff Sergeant James E. Taylor, and Private First Class Charlie R. Hill. They are wearing their military uniforms.
